Do you need to book a pitch at the caravan park?

Advance booking is preferred. To book, please click the button below.

We have a very small number of pitches available without pre-booking.

Can you get from northbound to southbound (and vice versa) without going on the motorway?

If you are travelling southbound on the M6 and wanting to get to our northbound services, leave the M6 at Tebay Services. Take the first left turn up the hill (signposted Hotel) after entering Tebay Services. At the top of the hill, turn left. After crossing the motorway bridge take the first left signposted Tebay Services Hotel and M6 North.

If you are travelling northbound on the M6 and wanting to get to our southbound services, leave the M6 at Tebay Services and follow signs to our Hotel, continue past the Hotel and turn right. After crossing the motorway bridge take the first right into Tebay southbound signposted M6 South.

Do you have an online shop?

Unfortunately we do not currently have an online shop, though it is something we are hoping to launch in the future.

Lost property?

If you think you may have left something on site during your visit, please call us on 01539 624511 or send an email to info@tebayservices.com with your name, contact details, information about your lost item, and whether you visited our northbound or southbound services.

Are you dog-friendly?

We welcome dogs in the foyer areas of our main building at both Tebay North and Tebay South.

We have taken the decision at all Westmorland Farmshops to revert back to our original policy of allowing dogs only in our Foyer areas. Over the past couple of years, we relaxed those rules by letting dogs into our Kitchen seating areas. We know most of our four-legged visitors are well behaved during their stop. However, what we have learnt is that some dogs don’t like each other very much, which negatively impacts the experience of other customers. We received large volumes of feedback on this topic weekly.

We know how important it is for the whole family (even the furry ones!) to get everything they need from a rest stop and regret having to make this decision. But we’re confident we’ve got the right facilities in place to make stopping with us just as easy in future. We have an undercover outdoor seating area, water bowls at each entrance, and of course a dedicated dog walk taking in views of the Cumbrian fells.

We now have self-service coffee machines in our foyer areas where you can grab a hot drink without the queue. We also have water bowls available at our front entrances.

Our dog walks at northbound southbound are family-friendly traffic-free short routes offering splendid views across the Howgill Fells. Please keep your dogs on a lead and use the poo bins provided.

Do you offer free parking?

We offer free parking for stays of up to 3 hours. For stays of 3 – 24 hours you will need to purchase a parking ticket. You can find our parking prices here.

Do you have a cash machine?

We don’t have a cash machine but our Farmshops do offer cash back.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout our buildings.

Do you have showers on site?

Showers are free to use in our main building 24 hours a day. Ask one of our colleagues at our Quick Kitchen for the key.

Are you accessible?

Tebay northbound is fully wheelchair accessible with a disabled toilet. Tebay southbound is wheelchair accessible except for one section of the Kitchen dining area, which is on a lower level and accessed by steps. We also have a Changing Places toilet at Tebay southbound, which is accessible from both sides of the motorway.

Do you have LPG in your filling station?

We have LPG available at our northbound filling station only, however we will removing this in mid-September.

Do you have any electric charging facilities?

NOW LIVE 12 new ultra-rapid Westmorland Charging points at our Northbound services and 4 at our Southbound services.

There are also eight Tesla charge points at Tebay Southbound which can be accessed from either side of the motorway.

To access the Tesla charge points from Northbound, follow signs to our Hotel, continue past the Hotel and turn right. After crossing the motorway bridge take the first right towards Tebay Southbound. Descend the hill and proceed to the Southbound Filling Station.
